Завеса

You cannot choose the ID — it is random (12 characters). The password and recovery code are random too.

The recovery code is the only way to regain access if you forget the password. It is shown once.

ID

Your login. You may share it with contacts.

Password

24 characters; dashes are optional when signing in.

Recovery code

Only needed to recover access. Never show it to anyone.

The kit is shown only once. Save it in a password manager or print it.
Support will never ask for your password or recovery code.
After signing in, also set up an encryption recovery key in the app (Settings → Encryption) — without it your message history will not open on a new device.

I have saved the ID, password and recovery code in a safe place.

Let's make sure the recovery code is saved: fill in the missing characters.
